Sunday Brunch

The Table

The Food Table, Yum!

I'm so excited it's finally summer here in Portland, I didn't think the rain would ever quit. I celebrated by having some friends over for Sunday Brunch! It was absolutely beautiful outside, sunny warm and perfect for eating outdoors. As usual I made way too much food, but I just couldn't decide on what to make, so I made a little bit of everything. We had red potatoes with Herbs de Provence, Biscuits & Sausage Gravy, Pecan Sticky Buns, Bacon, Sausage, Watermelon, and an Eggs Benedict Casserole. Oh, I almost forgot the important part, lots of mimosas! I will post all these recipes very soon.

Looks lovely! I haven't entertained at brunch in far too long, so thanks for the reminder of how much fun it can be.

That looks like my kind of spread!

I thought the weather this weekend was great as well, but poor Hubby was dying. He's got Viking blood, so anything above 65F is too hot. LOL

Lydia,
Brunch is very fun, but you do have to be an early bird to truly enjoy entertaining in the morning!
Darlene,
I don't like hot weather that much either, but after the very long winter/spring any warm weather is welcome.

I attended this brunch and trust me...it was perfect. Every dish Jason made was to-die-for...especially those sticky buns. I grew up in Texas and consider myself to be a gravy snob but Jason's version definitely ranks right up there with my mother's. WONDERFUL brunch, Jason.
